Hi,

Do we have to pay the issuance fee if we are getting stamping in India. I am getting my H1B stamping in chennai. I am in my 8th yr of H1B.

Can any one please inform me about this ? Also if any one recently had their stamping done, can you please post your experience.

I'm surprised no organization is following up with USCIS about the prompt monthly updates on pending Volumes. So much for the push for openess during the 90 day initiative by the President !

Going by the charts and Dashboard one would come to think the September volumes has whittled down to Zero !! Hmmm..

You cannot use the “AUTO VISA Revalidation” rule once you go for stamping.

Please share your experience of H1b visa stamping in Halifax or Quebec (Canada).
I am planning drive to Halifax or Quebec end of this month.
I am intended to use “AUTO VISA Revalidation” rule.
I am from India and I don’t have any U.S. degree.

I love the G4, but I know it does have some problems with 3D rendering in some situations. I'm not sure why that would be happening.

personaly I use 600+ megs and I still find myself lacking in the memory department.

I work in Philadelphia area. I have received a Job offer in NYC area which offers me a salary 70-80% more than what I earn now. Job responsibilities and descriptions are pretty much the same in new position.

I would like to run it by a good lawyer to make sure there would not be an issue with AC21 (I am well past 180 days now).

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer?

I am F-1 Student at a community college. At the same time, I am teaching at the college that I go to, since I have a Master's Degree....as I am allowed to work on campus 20 hours. The school is not willing to file H1b for me. But if there is another short cut....they might help me with that. Is there any way of receiving Green Card without going through the H1b?

I am an analyst under H1B and I am involved in a sales process by developing a prototype for a client. My company wants me to give a percentage of total deal as commission. It will show in the pay stub as commission. Is it legal to get commission under H1B (please remember I am a programmer analyst) ?

I work for company A which is pretty stable,on a H1b visa. I've no problems except that you will not find another horrible boss anywhere. Trust me, I've worked in quite some places and I've seen pretty bad bosses, but with this guy, you have someone who will always make you look bad and will literally shout at you. I've had enough and I want to switch.
I've around 3 yrs left on h1. The new company will sponsor my H1b and they will start my GC on the first week of my starting. (the person hiring me is a good friend)
The question I have is, what happens to the h1 that company A is holding when I transfer to Company B . There might be a reason company A's CTO might not want me to leave. He also cannot do anything about my boss at this point. It gets little complex at this point, but I want to know if i can work part time on h1b for company A while I work as full time for company B.

yes. you cannot file AoS while out of country. you can file for yourself, but will have to file for the dependent/s when they return.

My attorney missed the RFE deadline for my H1B extension as the RFE was never received even though USCIS sent it. Please let me know your experience if any one missed responding to RFE deadline for H1B extension and what procedures they followed to fix the issue. Please advise.
