I have a copy of Nolo Fiance and marriage Visas and in the section on I130 it says that my copies of G-325A must be filed in four copies printed on differently colored paper (white, green, pink and blue).
A) Is this really necessary?
B) If yes, I have actually bought paper in these colors. Does it have to a particular pink, blue, green etc?
C) The pages in the PDF are actually named
1) Ident.
2) Rec. Br
3) C.
4) Consulate
Which color matches which index? E.g. is the Ident one supposed to be white, blue, pink or green?
Hope someone knows about this.

I am on H1B 8th year extension, my priority date is September,2004. When I join new employer, Will I lose my current priority date as well as LC?
Depends on whether or not your I-140 is approved. If it is, and your old employer does not withdraw the petition then there is a possibility of carrying on with your old PD. I am no expert on this, but the issue has been discussed several times on this forum. Do a search for more info.

Hello folks. I hope someone can help me out on this issue. I applied for my wife's EAD back in July 2007. The EAD was processed in two weeks and we received the card. However, my wife's middle initial was incorrect and we sent it back to USCIS with an explaination concerning the mistake. USCIS stated that it would take anywhere from 2 months to 6 months to process the correction. Last week I received a letter from USICS stating that I need to submit a completed I-90 form. A I-90 form is used to replace a green card. We just applied for our adjustment of status in 6/2007 and are not permanent residents at this point. Getting the EAD has become a nightmare for us. Do I try and write a letter back to USCIS stating that they are asking for the wrong form. I tried to call them but they said to respond to the letter sent. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

My wife has H1 approved. Currentlyy she is in India. Her H1B will start from October 1st. I had 2 questions:
1. For stamping does she have to wait till Oct 1st or she can go before also?
2. Based on question 1 if she can go before oct 1st and get visa, can she enter US before 1st october?

I have one question. Once we receive EAD and all 9 yards notices and once you switch from H1 to EAD system with same employer, are you still bound to work with same employer for full 40 hours.. can you cut your hours to 20 hours (nooo second job too). I can just work 20 hours a week . Is that permissible to be on EAD and still get GC processed?

If you use your EAD (for part time or full time), you are on EAD and your H1B status is gone. It does not matter that you primary job is still on H1B.
