Hi,
I got my EAD recenltly and my I140 approved long time back but my employer is keeping my I140 receipt number as a secret (both HR and attorney). Is there any way i can get I140 receipt number? do i need this if i want to use AC21 before or after 180 days ?

Hi All,
Please take couple of secs to finish this poll. No matter what was your case for interview..extension, renewal, first time..when was H1/H4 etc approved..where it was approved..etc etc..nothing matters. All that needs to be tracked is wait time.
As long as New Delhi consulate please do this and this will give an idea for wait times.

under OPT you are still on F1 Visa...If you join another degree, you can still have F1, I believe you just need to inform the university on which your visa was issued about the university transfer. International affairs at your new univ. should help in this regard.

Hello gang! I have a quick question! Has anyone had issues with the prevailing wage being too low? The attorneys requested the prevailing wage from the SWA and it came back really high twice, so they then submitted a private wage survey that my company conducted with a reputable firm and it was rejected. The attorneys have said that they will now appeal the case directly to DOL. Has anyone had to go through this? If so, how long does appealing to DOL take? And, any info on success rate with the appeals to DOL?
Any info would be extremely appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!! :)

I am applying my Labor on EB2 tomorrow (07/26/2007). Is there any glim chacne for me to get the approval before 08/14/2007? I am going through Atlanta. Please let me know how long is the average time to get the cetification from atlanta center. (One of my friend applied on 07/17/07 and got the LC on 07/23/07 from atlanta center).

You could take a look at Track it. It will give you an idea of Atlanta backlogs . You could have a very good chance at Chicago though . Your friend was one in a million lucky and you could be one too .

I have applied for my I-485 in July 2007. A false DV case was filed against me by my ex-wife in January 2008 which was dismissed with prejudice in the court. I have all certified copies from court.
Now I got I-485 first interview letter from USCIS which is scheduled in Detroit.
Can I attend by myself or do I need to attend with a lawyer?
Could you guys advice me..

Hi Gurus,
If you look at my signature, My 485 has been transferred to TSC from NSC and AP is still stuck at NSC. I have some emergent situation back home , I have faxed the doctor certificate and called USCIS using POJ method and the guy says it might take another month. wat the *****....tried infopass..my local office doesnt have no more appointments.
My questions:
1. Can I take Infopass appointment anywhere else which is not my local office?
2. Can I apply a new 131 application at TSC as my 485 is there now?
Someone pls advise.

I am in the same situation. My I-140, with receipt date of Dec 13, 2006, is still pending with the TSC. Can you give me details of your pending I-140?
