DOS published a notice of the determination that the Abu Nidal Organization Movement (ANO) and Palestinian Liberation Front--Abu Abbas Faction (PLF) and all designated aliases will maintain designations as foreign terrorist organizations.
Abu Nidal is a terrorist organization widely known for deadly attacks in the 1980s on Western, Palestinian, and Israeli targets. They were attempting to derail diplomatic relations between the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and the West, while advocating for the destruction of Israel. The organization was named for a former member of the PLO who split off in a dispute over establishing diplomatic ties with Israel. It was really a proud moment for me and my wife to be part of rally yesterday. I felt really good that i am trying to do something about the situation. Hats off to aman kapoor and other core members who are putting their heart and sould into this fight even though they have their green cards already. As per the message conveyed in rally our real work begins now as we have to educate the congress members about the differance of legal and illegal immigration process. we should also try to involve as many members as possible who were not able to attend the rally due to their personal situation to be active in this education process. again salute to aman kapoor and core member team.

One of my friend got their Fingerprinting letter and the last name is misspelled. What should they do go ahead and take it to the FP office or call USCIS and get it corrected.

Hi,
My wife is on H1B and she couldnt work for the past 6 months. I applied for my I 140 and I 485 during the July fiasco last year and she was not added as my spouse and we got married at a later date.
Since she didnt receive pay for 6 months, I guess she is out of status for these 6 months. So my question is will this have any effect on her GC process when I add her as my spouse to the I 485 application whenever my priority date become current ? I am really worried and dont want to screw up my GC process after a long wait.

As most of you know, there is a conference call today(Sunday) at 3:00 EST. Please obtain the details of WHERE TO CALL and PASSCODE by calling 281-576-7185 if you do not have it already.
During the conference call: (The moderator would cover this but a little heads up never hurt anyone :) )
1. Please avoid using the speakerphone. It creates echo. :)
2. Press 4 * (four star) after joining the call to go on MUTE mode. When you want to speak press 4 * again and your line would be unmuted. You would help greatly by muting your line when listening to avoid the noise/sounds chiming in from about 80-100 lines.:)

I got my labor approved in Jan (EB2 - RIR) , I say EB2 because because all the documentation was done supporting EB2 (BS + 5 years). My job requires that and I meet the criteria.
However, when Applying my I140 , the lawyer screwed up and filed under EB3 and got approved.
I very much want to go for EB2. Is it possible to file I140 again under EB2 with the same LC? If I want to re-file, do I have to or do they (USICS) cancel my previous I140 approval ?
Is filing another LC under PERM and I140 safer route than using the current LC ?
What is the best course of action ?
I know there is a clear advantage today in being in EB2 over EB3 (PD wise) and it looks like most people are converting from EB3 to EB2. I am not sure whether there will be any advantage of being in EB2 over EB3 by the time my PD (oct 04) becomes current.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.
